Десять лет назад, в ноябре 2003 года, недалеко от села Сержень-Юрт был уничтожен отряд профессиональных наемников. В чеченских горах они устроили настоящий университет по подготовке международных террористов. Банда состояла из граждан Алжира, Турции, Иордании и даже Германии.

Против двух десятков матерых «волков», как они себя называли, встали восемь молодых солдат. Они проигрывали в количестве, зато это был спецназ Главного разведывательного управления — элита российской армии.

Только сейчас, спустя столько лет, появилась возможность показать тот отчаянный бой, уникальные кадры, которые долгое время были засекречены. Съемки велись и с той и с другой стороны. Жизнь «волков» и «волкодавов» в фильме Андрея Медведева и Александра Смирнова.
